CFCI Annual Dinner 2019: Applications now CLOSED

Speaker: None

Applications are now CLOSED for the 2019 CFCI Annual Dinner at King's College, Cambridge. As always the demand for tickets exceeds supply and in an effort to ensure that all members have the opportunity to attend allocations will be in accordance with the rules below.

Rules for Application

Applicants are advised to wait until their allocation has been confirmed before inviting guests.

The pre-dinner reception will be held in the Chetwynd Room from 7.00 pm and dinner will be called at 7.40 pm. We have arranged a late bar again this year open until 12.45am.

The ticket  price of £140pp includes for the sparkling wine reception, a five-course dinner, wines and port.  As last year there will be a musical interlude.

A seating plan will be on display on the night. Every effort is made to rotate table places year on year but please be sympathetic to the efforts to do this is as it can be difficult. Allocation of seating will be on a company by company basis. Should you wish to allocate individual seats please place your name cards on your table by 7.30.
The allocation of tables, seating plan, indicative timings and the menu for this year’s Dinner is posted on the website here. If any member of your party requires a vegetarian option or has any other special dietary requirements please let me know as soon as possible but not later than Monday 1st April.

It should be safe for you to advise your party that the dinner will be finished by 11.15 pm and that taxis can be ordered from about 11.30 pm but it is difficult for us to be precise in these matters.
It will be very helpful if you would ask your party, in politeness to our speakers, to please be quiet during any speeches and the musical interludes. The acoustics of our magnificent venue are somewhat unforgiving especially for those towards the rear of the Hall; your co-operation will be much appreciated.
The dress code is Black Tie
Finally, if you have any other queries or concerns please do let me know.
