Gillespie Centre, Clare College, Cambridge
Since it was established by Trinity College Cambridge in 1970, the Cambridge Science Park has evolved over a series of six main phases. Today the Park is benefiting from a new phase of renewal and investment principally aimed at replacing the Park’s Phase 1 units with state-of-the-art offices and laboratories as well as a social hub comprising a hotel with a conference centre and leisure facilities including a gym and pool. One of the drivers underpinning the current phase of investment is a landmark partnership between Trinity College and TusPark, the Science Park development body of Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.
