St Columba's Church
The conversion of St Columba's Church on Downing Street to Downing Place United Reformed Church is a coming together of two churches to form a new flexible community facility in the heart of Cambridge.
Coulson & Son Ltd have been tasked with turning lead designers Archangel vision to transform the church worship space into a central venue for musical events and performances with high end AV systems as well as an enclosed space for the nightlite team to operate on Saturday nights.
The two church halls which are hidden from street view will be reworked to introduce a first floor within the central hall to house meeting room spaces.
