The CFCI is aware of the importance of protecting and enhancing our natural environment which is becoming ever more valued as we face a Climate Crisis and Biodiversity Loss. Biodiversity is essential for supporting life, and our connection to the natural world brings additional benefits for our health and wellbeing.
Delivering Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) became mandatory earlier this year. At this evening talk our speakers will discuss what BNG is, why it is important, how it works and what it means for development. Two projects which demonstrate innovative solutions in challenging conditions will be showcased before closing with a panel questions and answers session.
