Cambridge University, SDC and members of the design team will be presenting details of the New Whittle Laboratory that will act as the UK’s Integrated Technology Accelerator to accelerate the path to zero carbon flight.
The £58m project has started on site and is planned for completion in 2026. The new building sits alongside the existing Whittle facilities, acting as a new gateway building to the West Cambridge Campus. It will include workshops, offices and a pioneering wind tunnel testing hall.
The presentation will be held in the Engineering Dept, Trumpington Street, Cambridge and will commence with refreshments at 6pm, giving you the chance to mingle with other Members and colleagues.
