This CFCI evening talk will address the looming challenge we face in retro-fitting our existing building stock in Cambridge to reduce energy consumption and de-carbonise our built environment.
Speakers from Bidwells will provide an overview of the Cambridge challenge, referencing College, University and commercial building approaches and 5th Studio will talk about recent experience in fabric performance upgrades.
King’s College and Munro’s will then provide feedback on Spalding Hostel, completed in October, one of Cambridge’s first de-gassing projects. ASHP and PV’s have been installed to this existing building in the heart of Cambridge.
The evening will commence with a drinks reception at 6pm and will also give you the opportunity to meet the speakers and other colleagues following the presentation.
