We are pleased to offer a site visit to Unity Campus to see Phase 2 of the development on the innovation campus near Sawston.
Phase 2 consists of 3 buildings (A1, A2, and B) which are a combination of lab and office and comprise a total of nearly 90,000 sq ft.
Morgan Sindall are delivering these 3 buildings for the campus owners Howard Group, and are currently overseeing the construction of the second of five phases on the campus.
At the time of the visit building A2 will be nearing completion of the shell and core works, A1 will be starting the external façade cladding works with core works progressing and B shall be close to being watertight.
Utilising Modern Methods of Construction, the building incorporates twin wall technology and structural insulated panels (SIPS), as well as taking steps in sustainability to achieve BREEAM ‘Excellent’. Such as the use of recycled aggregate in form of 50% GGBS used in the piles and pile caps and HVO fuel being used exclusively on site.
There is a multi-storey car park located on the site as well as public transport links available at Whittlesford Parkway.
