Judges Comments:

“The craftsmanship involved in the King’s Chapel Roof was impressive on any definition.  One of the treats of our visit was being able to enter the void between the roof and the famous fan-vaulted chapel ceiling, enabling us to admire the centuries of craftsmanship that have shaped this extraordinary building.  Today’s successes include the precise lead work; the enormously complex management of new and water materials; and the adaptable fixings of the solar panels.  Modern craftsmanship to match that of the past.”
